Design solutions database
A free platform that brings together innovative projects and construction systems — from the past and the present. By connecting different times, contexts, and approaches in a single database, it expands the technical and critical repertoire of architects, engineers, and students, bridging theory and practice and encouraging the use of more efficient, sustainable, and viable solutions.
Architecture collections
We support the curation and cataloging of collections from Brazilian architects who developed innovative construction systems, making relevant technical legacies accessible.
Publications
We investigate ideas that were ahead of their time — industrialized systems, passive strategies, free plans, and structural solutions — and ask: Why did they fall out of use? Do they still make sense today?

IACAI brings together a collection of materials that reveal the creative processes in architecture, through records such as sketches, drawings, and preliminary studies.
